Somewhere between grunge, punk and alternative rock, The Red Flags use their music to express the anger and worries they deal with every day. Whether about feminism, identity, social inequalities or interpersonal relationships, their songs are loud, chaotic and bring a very special energy to the stage. Inspired by legendary bands such as Nirvana, Hole and the Dead Kennedys, as well as current musicians such as Amyl and the Sniffers, the band from Cologne is putting a modern spin on an old sound and slowly making a name for themselves in the city's underground scene. They also had the opportunity to perform their first single “Who?” at Rock am Ring as part of the TV show “Lass dich überwachen”, a format hosted by satirist Jan Böhmermann. The band is currently working on their debut album together with star producer Moses Schneider.
