How does admission to the festival infield work? 

Admission to the concert area is only possible with a festival wristband on your wrist. You can get this at all check-in stations. At the entrance your wristbands and bags will be checked.

Which age limits apply for Rock am Ring?

*Guardians are usually the parents, in exceptional cases this can also be a legally appointed carer or legal guardian. The personal custody authorization cannot be transferred to other people, e.g. older friend or other family member.

Which camping ticket do I need? 

TICKET INFO

Weekend festival tickets are valid for the entire weekend from June 6 - 8. Day tickets are currently not planned. Subscribe to our newsletter to make sure you don't miss any information.

WEEKEND FESTIVAL TICKET

The Weekend Festival Ticket is valid for all three event days during the respective opening hours from June 6th to June 8th, 2025.
Important information: This ticket only grants access to the infield (concert area). For parking and/or camping, an additional parking and/or camping ticket is required.

CAMPING / PARKING TICKET INFORMATION

If you want to stay overnight at the campsite, you need a camping & parking ticket. 

GENERAL CAMPING & PARKING 

Classic camping on designated camping meadows, including parking in designated lots. Our camping and parking areas are open from Wednesday, June 4th, 2025, at 12:00 PM until Monday, June 9th, 2025, at 12:00 PM.

Note: An additional Weekend Festival Ticket is required for access to the infield (concert area)!

GREEN CAMPING & PARKING 

The focus in Green Camping is on nature conservation and waste separation. In addition, quiet hours are observed from 01:00 AM to 08:00 AM. In addition to access to the Green Camping zones, this ticket allows parking in designated parking lots. Our camping and parking areas are open from Wednesday, June 4th, 2025, at 12:00 PM until Monday, June 9th, 2025, at 12:00 PM.

ROCK'N'ROLL CAMPING & PARKING

Rock ‘n’ Roll Camping provides shared power outlets approximately every 50 meters. In addition to access to the Rock ‘n’ Roll Camping areas, this ticket grants parking in designated parking lots. Our camping and parking areas are open from Wednesday, June 4th, 2025, at 12:00 PM until Monday, June 9th, 2025, at 12:00 PM.

Note: An additional Festival Ticket is required for access to the infield (concert area)!

CARAVAN CAMPING & CARAVAN PASS

To drive your vehicle onto the camping grounds, your vehicle needs a Caravan Pass for areas B, C, or D. Our camping and parking areas are open from Wednesday, June 4th, 2025, at 12:00 PM until Monday, June 9th, 2025, at 12:00 PM.

CAR & TENT PASS

At Rock am Ring, camping and parking areas are generally separated. If you want to park your car next to your tent, you can do so in the new Car & Tent area. Each vehicle requires a Car & Tent Pass, and each person also needs a General Camping Ticket. This camping area does not have electricity.

RACETRACK ROCK' N 'ROLL CAMPING/PARKING

Experience Rock am Ring on our new camping site directly on the Nürburgring racetrack, at the location of the former Dunlop curve (now known as the Goodyear curve).
Along with free Wi-Fi and separate sanitary facilities, shared power outlets are available approximately every 50 meters.
Culinary provisions are offered in this camp. And of course, you can also purchase beer, other cold drinks, and coffee here.
Please note that you cannot park your car next to the tent.  Designated parking spaces are reserved for you for this purpose.

UTOPIA STAGE CAMPING

Experience Rock am Ring on our exclusive Utopia Stage Camping site, with your own lot for two people right next to the racetrack, adjacent to the Utopia Stage. Secure an area of approximately 5 x 5 meters [16 x 16 feet], including a pre-built two-person tent branded with Rock am Ring (2.80 x 2.40 meters) [9 x 8 feet].
Besides proximity to the infield, a designated parking lot, separate sanitary facilities, free Wi-Fi, and your own check-in, you will have guaranteed access to the first and second stage areas of the Utopia Stage.
Relax in the lounge area with comfortable seating and charge your phone.
Shared power outlets are available approximately every 50 meters.
Culinary options are offered in this camp.  And of course, you can also purchase beer, other cold drinks, and coffee.

WEEKEND CAR PASS (FOR DAY PARKER)

If you are not camping on-site—for example, staying in a hotel, with friends, or at home—and plan to arrive daily by car, you will need a Weekend Car Pass.
With this pass, you can park your car in designated day parking lots from Friday to Sunday, each day from 12:00 PM noon to 5:00 AM the following day. During the intervening time, all cars must be removed from the day parking lots; they are not intended for overnight stays.

Note:
Leaving your vehicle overnight, sleeping in the vehicle, and camping in the parking area are not allowed.

EVENT AREA & SANITARY FACILITIES

At the Utopia Stage you can watch all concerts from the rooftop of the pit lane. The elevator for barrier-free access is located opposite the Medical Center. At the Mandora and Orbit Stage there are also barrier-free sanitary facilities and wheelchair platforms.

MEDICATION

If you need medication that needs to be kept refrigerated, you can contact our paramedics on site.

IN CASE OF EMERGENCY

Are you or someone in your group unwell or feeling unwell? Contact our paramedics on site. Security can also be contacted in the event of a medical emergency. They will then arrange everything to ensure that you are helped quickly and safely.

What is cashless?

Cashless is cashless payment. The wristband, which you will receive on site at the CHECK-IN when showing your festival ticket, has an integrated chip, which is your electronic wallet and allows you to pay cashless on the entire festival ground.

Why cashless?

  • Faster: fast and contactless payment.
  • Safer: reduces cash loss and theft.
  • Better: more time for your festival experience.

Is it also possible to pay using cash?

No. Only cashless payments can be made throughout the entire grounds (exception: Lidl Rock Store). The advantage: you can use your wristband to pay for everything from beer to merchandise and ferris wheels.

How can I top-up before the festival?

Register here with your festival ticket or using our app. Once you have registered, you can top-up your credit using various payment methods.

Is it possible to top up at the festival?

Of course! You can top-up more credit at any time using our app. Furthermore, there are top-up stations where you can top-up with cash, Vpay, Visa, Mastercard and Maestro. You find them at the showers and on-site. The exact positions of the top-up stations will be shown on the map shortly.

How do cashless payments work at the festival?

We will exchange your festival ticket for your wristband with a cashless chip when you check-in at the festival. If you have already registered and topped up your wristband in advance, your credit will be available to you immediately since your ticket is linked to the cashless system. Your pre-orders are also stored on your wristband and are ready to use immediately! If you have not yet topped up your wristband, you can do so at the festival using our app or at one of the top-up stations.

What do I have to bring to check-in?

Your ticket and an ID document for an age check. The rest is automatic.
Important: Despite the registration you have to bring your festival ticket to the CHECK-IN.

Can I collect the wristbands for my group?

No, each festival goer must be present at wristband exchange (CHECK-IN) and needs to have their ticket scanned. It’s not possible to do this for other people.
